Weddings at The Kelley Farm in Bonney Lake always bring something new, but this one was next-level fun. The couple ditched the “getting ready” coverage and skipped a first look. My day kicked off with the ceremony (talk about diving straight into the good stuff) and wrapped up hours later with a bubble send-off that looked like a rom-com finale.

And somewhere in between? We made time for the most gloriously awkward 90’s poses you’ve ever seen. Think: hand-on-shoulder, stiff smiles, the kind of photos you thought you buried with your yearbook. Now they’re immortalized in wedding attire. You’re welcome.

Why We’ll Never Get Tired of The Kelley Farm

The Kelley Farm wedding venue is one of our all-time favorite places to shoot. Rustic barn? Check. Fluffy cows? Check. Gardens that look like they were designed for Pinterest? Double check. We’ve photographed hundreds of celebrations here, and every time it feels fresh because every couple brings their own flavor.

That’s the magic of The Kelley Farm - it’s drop-dead gorgeous but still lets couples keep it real, whether that means elegant romance, a packed dance floor, or ironic throwback poses that belong in a sitcom.

Ceremony to Send-Off, With a Lot of Laughs (and Ice Cream) in Between

Since there was no first look, all that anticipation built up until the moment they locked eyes at the cceremony - worth the wait, trust me. After vows were exchanged, the rest of the day unfolded in the best possible way: portraits that went from heartfelt to hilarious, a dance floor that refused to quit, and… an ice cream truck parked right at The Kelley Farm.

Yes, you read that right. Guests got to grab cones and sundaes in between dance breaks, and honestly, it was the ultimate wedding power move. Because while champagne toasts are great, nothing hits like a waffle cone on a warm Washington evening. Pro tip: if you’re planning your Kelley Farm wedding, add an ice cream truck to the list. Zero regrets.

The night wrapped with a bubble send-off that sparkled just as much as the couple’s laughter. Romantic, funny, a little unexpected - the perfect recipe for a Kelley Farm wedding day.
