THE PHOTOGRAPHERS

OUR STORY

How It Began

Our family business began in 2005 after the birth of our first daughter. I couldn’t stop capturing every sweet moment, and that passion quickly grew into something bigger. Soon after, I teamed up with my husband, Alex, who discovered a love for photo editing and made a career change to join me.

Alex began photographing weddings and events by my side and eventually became an incredible photographer in his own right. We've now spent over 17 years capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments, and we’re still just as passionate about telling stories through our lens. We can't wait to be a part of your story!

REBECCA

I’ve always been drawn to art, and some of my earliest memories are in my grandfather’s darkroom, watching his photos come to life. Growing up in Seattle, I dreamed of being an artist, but it wasn’t until I had my first daughter that I truly fell in love with photography. I couldn’t stop capturing every moment and I haven’t put my camera down since.

What started with family sessions quickly turned into something bigger. When a close friend asked me to photograph her wedding, I was terrified at first. But the moment I arrived, I knew I had found my place. That one “yes” changed everything, and I’ve spent the last 13 years photographing weddings with heart, intention, and deep appreciation for the moments that matter most.

Alongside my husband, Alex, and now even our oldest daughter, I get to do what I love with the people I love most. We're also expanding our services to include studio work for newborn and family sessions—coming full circle to where this story began.

ALEX

I’ve had a passion for photography since I was a kid, dreaming of traveling the world and capturing stories through a lens. While I took a different path into engineering and drafting, photojournalism always stayed close to my heart. I grew up in Seattle with my mom, spent summers on my grandfather’s farm, and stayed active playing sports, just like our middle kid does now.

When Rebecca started this business, I loved watching it grow. As things got busier, I jumped in behind the scenes and began learning photo editing. That quickly turned into a full-time role as the lead editor. Eventually, I picked up a camera and started second shooting weddings, learning everything I could from Rebecca and through courses at Highline Community College.

Now I photograph weddings on my own and love being part of such important moments. To me, great photography is more than technical skill. It’s about connection, trust, and the genuine love between two people, and I’m honored to capture that.

Let’s start planning something beautiful.
